    This monograph illustrates two approaches to business management theory: one is tough, structural regulation (vertical hierarchy) and another one is untraditional structures. Author has made an analysis of forming sharp pyramidal organizational structures; he formulated his own conception of planetary management structure on railway transport as an integrated corporative structure.

    This monograph describes reorganization of railway transport. Author summarizes foreign experience in reorganization, examines the problems of shareholding and privatization of enterprises, offers the planetary structure of corporation "Russian Railways".

    This monograph is devoted to mathematical modeling of economic evaluation of effective interaction among JSC "Russian Railways", subjects of Russian Federation and also economic subjects situated on their territory. Authors examine different methodological approaches to economic and mathematical modeling of interaction system among JSC "Russian Railways" with regional structures, to presentation and modeling of regional systems of economic interaction in general. They also prove these methods of system description and modeling.

Achievements of theoretical study: Scientists have developed information and analytical system for forecasting security level of traffic working while damage control work in structural sub-divisions of JSC "Russian Railways".

Achievements of theoretical study:
  • V.M. Samuilov developed methods assisting to evaluate effectively organizational management structure of logistic complex in sphere of passenger traffic;
  • he suggested methods helping subjects of Russian Federation to calculate entitlement payment for local passenger traffic;
  • scientist is developing theory, methodology and realization of perspective location of warehouse complexes for alternative means of transport (railway, car, river, air transport);
  • he offered the optimum way of supply chain management by different means of transport.
